Thanks to the support from strategic partners such as the United Nations Industrial Development Organisation, the Ministry of Industry, Trade and New Technologies and the Spanish Agency for International Cooperation and Development, the women from the cooperative ATMA have been able to benefit from financial and technological support to improve the quality of their products and to facilitate the access to the national and international market . The institutional support has also enabled these women to increase their revenues and reinforce their institutional capacities.
This strategic process of opening to partners from different horizons is an important factor for the strengthening and the positioning of Fatma’s products as local products with a specific know-how that can be exported internationally towards a sustainable development.
