The making of Hanbel is characterised by singing and praying rituals, involving girls of seven years old preparing articles for future brides. It is a way of reaching adulthood, celebrating dreams and perpetuating tradition through the feeling of belonging to a group or tribe.

Weavers don’t use schemes or models when designing a product but give free rein to their imagination while inheriting tradition from their tribes.
Whether you are looking for serpentine or diamond shape, shinny red or canary yellow color, ATMA women are able to meet your special needs and design a work of art you are dreaming of!

Beside the Hanbel, other weaving products are developed by the women under the brand name FATMA to respond to the needs of professionals and individuals.
The women from ATMA will be able to convey warmth and a
unique character to your living room or the bedroom of your dreams.

Bedding articles and home linen (tablecloth and blankets) as well as women accessories (shawls, bags) are part of the products portfolio made by the cooperative ATMA. |
